The Research Computing Group at Mines is hosting an Intro to High Performance Computing (HPC) workshop for new and existing computational researchers on March 10+12, 2:00-4:30pm in Hill Hall 204. New & current Wendian and Mio users are both encouraged to register!

  • Introduction to “Pre-HPC” skills using Linux & Bash
  • Introduction to HPC job scheduling using Slurm
  • Unleashing the Power of Python and Jupyter Notebooks
  • Managing Conda Environments
  • Mastering Batch Job Submission Techniques
